Musicians at the market
An accordion on the corner of the Grand-Rue, a brass duo by the fountain: the committee notes it in its own study, the presence of musicians is one of the surest signs that a market is alive.
At most three musicians play at the market. Here are those who have come forward.
No musician has come forward yet. This section will fill up as they do.
Do you play at the market? And would you like people to know!
Let people know, and visitors will know when and where to hear you. You fill in a form: your name or stage name, your style, a few lines about yourself, one or two photographs, a link to a recording if you have one, and the dates you expect to be there.
This is not a request for a pitch at the market: it is an announcement. Playing on the Grand-Rue does not go through us, and making yourself known here reserves you no place.
The pitch is optional: many only find out on the morning itself, and the form stays editable until then.
The fee
The fee for musicians is still to be confirmed by the committee. Nothing is charged until it is set: write to the committee and it will tell you where the decision stands.
The amount is paid to the Groupement du Marché Morgien.
