What's on the stalls right now
Late summer on the Grand-Rue: the last tomatoes, the first squashes, and mushrooms returning with the cool nights.
The market follows the seasons, not the aisles. What changes from one week to the next shows first on the growers' stalls.
At the end of August the tomatoes still hold the tables, and the first squashes arrive beside them. Mushrooms return as soon as the nights turn cool.
The best thing is to ask: the stallholders know what was picked yesterday, and what will be better next week.
This page is meant to be rewritten as the seasons turn. The committee can tell whatever it likes here, as often as it likes.
